Hi, I'm Afnan.
I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with 9 years of experience designing and supervising ABA programs for clients with developmental disorders.

My path to ABA began with a B.A. in Special Education from King Saud University, followed by an M.S. in Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis) from the University of Nevada, Reno — and years of hands-on practicum in Riyadh's leading autism centers.
My approach
I practice ABA the way it should be: compassionate, assent-based, and built around what matters to your family. Whether it's conducting a Functional Behavior Assessment, delivering Discrete Trial Training, or using the SOS Approach to Feeding, each plan is individualized to the child. We measure what's working. We adjust what isn't. And we celebrate progress, even when it's small.
I'm fluent in Arabic and English, and I work hard to make services culturally responsive — because a plan that ignores your values is a plan that won't last. I also hold an OBM-C certification (Organizational Behavior Management Certified – Executive), which informs how I train and supervise RBT teams.
What guides my practice
Compassionate first
Every plan starts by listening — to the child, the family, and the context they live in.
Data-honest
We track what matters, and I'll tell you plainly when something isn't working.
Assent-based
Kids should have a voice in their own treatment. I design for their buy-in, not compliance.
Culturally rooted
Arabic-speaking families deserve services that speak their language — literally and figuratively.
